Paulette Beete holds an MFA in creative writing from American University. As a poet, she has published work in Beltway Poetry Quarterly, Crab Orchard Review, Pittsburgh Poetry Review, and Rhino, among many others. She is also the author of two chapbooks: Blues for a Pretty Girl and Voice Lessons. Her fiction and non-fiction work have appeared in various publications, including Provincetown Arts, WHERE DC, and American Spirit. She is also a visual artist and lives (and currently works) in Maryland.
